Fiber optic
For distances that are too long to cover with a traditional network cable, a fiber optic cable is used. In most cases, a fiber optic cable is used to connect several network cabinets in a production environment.
Another advantage to a fiber optic cable is that you only need 1 single cable for multiple connections, whereas with a copper cable you need 1 cable per connection. This saves you an enormous amount of space in your usually already crowded cable ducts.
Our fiber optic cables are installed in the most professional manner. We fusion-weld our cable at the end point (patch panel).This connection has a minimum of loss and thus ensures optimal operation of your fiber optic cable.
We also have specialized devices that give you a proof and guarantee that your fiber optic cable is finished according to the rules and will function properly. Do you already have a fiber optic connection in your company and is it not functioning properly?
ENS has the necessary devices to find out where this fault is located (a so-called OTDR measurement). If you then do not have the budget or the ability to renew the fiber optic cable, we will repair it at the location of the fault.
